The Effects of Caffeine

Most of us read health articles because we think we’re going to find out something different. We keep hoping the common knowledge that most foods and drinks are “healthy in moderation” is going to suddenly change. Unfortunately, that’s just not the reality. So I’m not going to tell you something phenomenal about the effects of caffeine. I am simply going remind you for the umpteenth time, however, that’s a great idea to drink caffeine in moderation. 
Coffee is always identical with high level of caffeine. Caffeine is secondary metabolism compounds from the class of alkaloids from coffee plants and has a bitter taste. The main role of this caffeine in body is increasing psychomotor work so the body awake and give physiological effect of increase in energy.

Caffeine not only have bad effect for health. These are the benefits of caffeine in coffee for health:

Suppress the Cancer Cell 
Caffeine in coffee can suppress the growth of cancer cell. This coffee also contained antioxidant compounds in sufficient numbers which also help body in counteracting the effects of destruction by free radical compounds. As an example, antioxidant compounds which contained in coffee are polyphenols, flavonoids, proanthocyanidin, coumarin, chlorogenic acid, and tocopherols.

Lower the Risk of Diabetes Mellitus
Caffeine can reduce the risk of getting diabetes mellitus type 2 by maintaining the body's sensitivity toward insulin.

Prevent Heart Attack
Caffeine in coffee was proved preventing body from heart attack.

Keep the Body Awake and Increasing Concentration
In some case, drinking coffee make our body keep awake and increasing concentration. 

Increase Energy Metabolism
In sport, many athlete consuming coffee before the competition because the active compounds in coffee increase the energy metabolism. Coffee as the stamina generator and pain reliever at low doses bring a fresh feeling, a little excited, and the liver will release sugar into the blood stream which resulting extra energy.

Knowing the benefit of caffeine doesn't mean that we can consuming coffee in large number. This because coffee has dependence effect and if it can't be controlled, it bring loss to ourselves. It also increase the risk of getting stroke. And for pregnant women can increase heart beat, attack placenta, get into blood circulation and more severe can cause death. So, don't consume coffee more than 3 cups a day.
